Frequently Asked Questions

Do ShedFast Kits need Council approval?

Generally councils can have different rules regarding construction. If you are located in a suburban area, a structure of more than 10 square meters may require council approval. All of our sheds are supplied with the appropriate engineers certificate and drawings. For more information on this, please contact our office or call your local council.

What Warranty comes with a ShedFast Kit?

ShedFast Frames have a 10 Year Structural Warranty. Colorbond® Roofing has a 10 Warranty.

Can I enclose my ShedFast Shade Shed Kit?

ShedFast relocatable shade sheds are engineered as an open structure. However, our sheds can be fitted with extra wall sheets and an enclosed end wall option is available. For customised sizes, please contact our office.

Are Hot Dipped Galvanised Frames available?

Yes! All ShedFast frames are manufactured from Australian Galvanised Steel, inside & out!. Any welded parts and the complete base rails are hot-dipped Galvanised as standard, for maximum protection. We can arrange hot-dipped galvanising of your ShedFast frame, however, this would come at an additional cost. Please contact us for pricing.

Can I store my flat pack for a time until I am ready to install?

Yes, but it is important to do the following; your shed pack should be disassembled and all parts checked on delivery. Due to natural occurring oxidization between galvanized surfaces it is important you store your shed parts off the ground in a dry place, with air gaps between pieces. Your roofing material should also be stored in a dry place while in a pack, this will help prevent any water damage to the colour caused by a reaction between the sheets. It should be noted that when the shed frame and roof sheets are stored with air gaps between them naturally occurring reactions between surfaces is prevented.

What Payment Terms are available?

Payment terms are 10% deposit upon acceptance of quote and the balance is payable prior to shipping. We accept cash, cheques, EFTPOS, credit cards and direct deposit. (surcharge applies)

What colour options are available?

All ShedFast frames are galvanised silver. The roofing sheets are Colorbond®, there are 22 colours available to choose from, you can even mix & match different colour if you like? Our colour options can be viewed on this page of our website.

Why should I choose ShedFast?

ShedFast kits are Australian Made, using Australian Steel & Sheeting. All ShedFast frames are heavy duty and are manufactured using 75x50x2.0mm or 100x50x2mm Australian Galvanised RHS steel. In some cases, the ShedFast frame is up to 30% stronger than alternative options on the market. This combined with the hot-dipped galvanised protection makes ShedFast the number one choice for strength and longevity.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver Australia wide. All products can be flat packed for transport purposes. In most cases we deliver to your door using our crane truck. All kits come with easy to follow assembly instructions.

Can Gutters be fitted to a ShedFast Shade Shed Kit?

Yes, just include a ShedFast Gutter Kit at time of order and simply allow suitable fall from one end of your shed to the other when installing. We replace the flashing from the gutter end of the shed and in turn extend the roof sheets 50mm to provide overhang into the gutter. The ShedFast Gutter Kit is custom made to suit your shed rafters and us easy to install. You then connect your down pipes as required.

Please note; this must be stipulated at time of order to ensure that the roof sheets are cut to length..
